Rochester, NY

Former Sykes Datatronics site. The City recently demolished the building. Sykes employed several hundred people in the 1980's. Below is a photo of the interior I took in February 2015 before the demolition.

You'd have to be pretty desperate for a place to go to even WANT to bother trespassing here. I think you've caught the mood of the place rather well. I'm not sure what you've done with the sky but it looks like that wasn't a straight black and white filter. It's a very appealing effect and makes the photo more interesting than many black and white skies do.

Urban decay in IR. Still a sad statement about the economy and the need for jobs. The NO TRESPASSING sign is a very stark reminder when placed in front of this structure. Well seen and shot. Voted

Strong image with the fence and the inclusion of the sign. Great you added an interior view as well. "V"

strong POV...the tension in the angled lines seems appropriate for the narrative..

Such a foreboding scene, and a sad testament to the way things are going these days. Very well composed capture, with the blue sky a surprising touch. V.
