The autoracks are most likely parked at Ronda Siding, about six miles (9 km) west of Sulphur, Nevada. Between the autoracks and the mountains in the background is the mud flat portion of the Black Rock Desert, site of the Burningman festival every September.
Photographed during a 97-mile drive on dirt or gravel roads from Gerlach, Nevada to Winnemucca (great route!). My vantage point was on road 2048 and I was looking about northwest.
