Wednesday night is trivia night at Sherlock's Pub. A couple days ago Ginny decided that she wanted to make shortbread cookies in the shape of Oregon. She looked all over when we were in Portland but she could not find a cookie cutter with the shape of Oregon. That didn't deter her. She cut out an Oregon shape from cardboard and used it to cut the cookie dough free hand. The cookies came out great. The were very tasty, especially with a dab of chocolate frosting on them. BTW, we came in third but didn't win anything.
