The American Cemetery near Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France,
is the resting place for over 9000 US soldiers who gave their lives during the WWII D-day invasion.
The cemetery is located on a bluff overlooking Omaha Beach in Normandy.
Visiting the cemetery is a moving experience , especially because the buried solders are so close to the place they died at.
