The town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise and its bridges were one the first objectives of the D-day invasion.
On June 5th, 1944, a critical battle took place here.
Now, more than 70 years later, all that remind us of this event is the parachute hanging on the church and the dedicated museum in town.
