Today I am remembering these two men from Chackbay, Louisiana, whose love of nature and all things living touched my heart. A. J. Adams was a PBase member and he died two years ago of a heart attack. His brother, Hilton, (with the green jacket) was dying of cancer when I met him but braved this boat trip because he so wanted to be there in the bayou taking pictures. I miss them.
