Agents of Change

My wife and her Aunt / Boss/ Partner in all things real-estate. These two affect change daily for the clients they serve and tonight had an open house to thank previous buyer and sellers for their business. These two put on a great evening of food and drink.

Well done ladies, and having a bottle of Makers Mark available made it even better!

I swear, the idea of a Berkshire Hathaway edition of Monopoly boggles my mind. Boggles, I say. But given the context, any form of Monopoly is an ideal backdrop. Aunt/Boss has one of those smiles that really cuts through. At the risk of being over-clinical and thinking of it purely in compositional terms, the arc of her lower lip leads up to the corner of her mouth and from there straight up to her eyes, which are very expressive. Same principle as any other leading line; it tends to enhance the effect.
