Really a cute close up of your willing model! The lens is really a sweet one for most things, tests quite well too. V

A very pretty portrait of him today! Especially nice with the cottage window behind. V

I'd say the lens passes the test

Great portrait of Toffee. Our cats over the years have generally been less cooperative!

Wonderful perspective! Toffee looks big as a house!

Toffee seems oblivious to you and the lens and intent on something in the garden. Great capture, and looks like the lens will serve you well. V.

"As usual" is not my experience with the feline species. "Wait until you're ready to shoot then turn my head or get up or roll over" is. Toffee must be either much more accommodating or expecting a treat.
Sooooo, you went for the 12-50... it's a nice little lens based on what I've seen from a couple of other Olympian PBasers who have one, and certainly delivered a clear, sharp result with a nice blur to the background here. Not as fast as the 12-40 but vastly cheaper. (Of course even the 12-40 is pocket money compared to the new 7-14 f/2.8 Pro... sadly that one will have to wait.)
