It is hard to imagine how this country came about with all the computers, big machinery and satellites of today but take a ride in the Iowa country side and it becomes apparent. There will be a sign with a school name about every two miles apart. Then there are the many churches and their cemeteries along side the road. A lot of faith, hard work and education to build this country. A look in the cemetery will tell you how hard life was. One family had five children only two survived childhood.
