~Black Bear Country~
Black bears strip the bark from trees and logs. They eat tiny insects such as ants, termites, beetles, yellow jackets, bees, wasps, insect larva in nests and hives, and also grubs in live or dead standing trees. Black bears can be black or brown in color.
