Coming ashore

We were fascinated to see hundreds of Horseshoe Crabs coming ashore for mating purposes!
The female is the large crab surrounded by males.
Their life's journey is incredible!

Looks like the Jersey shore. We find horseshoe crabs all the time, but never so many in one spot. I like the copper tone.
