Two images of a tenacious little male Yellow Warbler singing its heart out, presumably to attract a female. But, alas, it has a lame foot and was probably passed over by all available females. Five stars for effort though.
Top Image: The singing Warbler is perched on one leg. Its lame right leg can be seen behind the branch.
Seven additional singing poses cloned into one image. In all poses, the injured foot/leg is visible. The little fella is very active, flying fast from perch to perch and singing away at the top of its lungs.
