Southern Milky Way

The Southern Cross is visible near the middle of the frame. The two bright stars below and to the left of it are Alpha and Beta Centauri. Immediately below the Southern Cross is the Quechua "dark constellation" Yutu (the partridge). The famous llama dark constellation is not visible, below the horizon.
