Found this little fella making the journey from the Delaware Bay onto the sand at Kimbels Beach, NJ (along the Delaware Bay).
We were told that the Horseshoe Crabs were washing ashore by the thousands for reproductive purposes... (photos to follow)
Saw lots of them, various shorebirds eating the HS crab eggs, and this lone little crab.
Not only was this little crab adorable, but it had a wicked set of pincers!
The beach steward should have never picked it up.....
