Sometimes I have ideas that are so good that I actually scare myself. I got to thinking about the birthday party and all the to-do that seems to accompany taking photos of girls. You know, "How is my hair?" "You WILL take out wrinkles?" "I wore this dress two years ago?" "I want to stand next to Pat," "Is this a decent background?" "Wait, I have to get some more wine!" "Is my tiara on straight?" "If I knew we were taking a picture I wouldn't have eaten all those chips and queso." "I want to touch up my lipstick." "I need to fix my mascara." "Can we eat right after this poor excuse for a photographer finishes screwing up the pictures." "Where is the bathroom?" You know how it goes.
So here's my brilliant idea. After changing the color of Mary Beth's blouse, the girls all agreed it was a right decent picture in spite of the fool who was taking it. So I got to thinking, what if I change the colors of what everybody is wearing for next year's photo and then we wouldn't even have to mess around taking a new one. Brilliant. Simple. How much better can it get?
So here is the result. Compare it to the May 15 photo. I think it is really good. Besides if anybody objects to my selection of colors, POOF I can change them to their little heart's content. Life is good.
