It’s the time of year when the critters need all the strength they can get to raise their little families. Hence our bird table is stuffed to the gunnels every day with goodies. Our new, better nyger seed feeder is proving a big hit with the goldfinches and siskins. They’re getting through the seed much faster now, which means they have to work less hard to find food and therefore can spend more time on the business of nurture. That’s got to be a good thing.
