Flood reflections.jpg

Francois Lake, B.C.

With the lake rising an inch a day we all tremble.
For a lake 100 kms long (abt 2 kms. wide) the volume of water is mind boggling.
We have 6ft of gentle slope before it reaches our deck. And, there's a huge
fire burning not that far away. Floods, fires - what else ??

a fine impressionistic scene...the threats sound worrisome though...that must be the Little Bobtail Lake Fire you refer too, evidently huge and out of control...fingers crossed for you..

This reminds me of the expression, "calm before the storm". I hope you have a happy ending, Gill

A beautiful capture with dreamy reflections, but that situation doesn't sound too good. Definitely stay safe. V.

A serene and calm capture in beautiful tones but a dramatic story. Sorry to hear about the fire and floods. Stay safe, Gill! V
