Tick, tick, tick goes the timebomb, tock, tock, tock.

We’ve been out to see some friends tonight and it’s surprising how much a problem shared is a problem halved. My friend listened to the things we’d discovered and helped me to see that what we had already really resigned ourselves to was the right course of action to remove one of our current raft of problems. If anything, she’d have been much tougher than I would – I do err on the side of quietly removing the problem rather than confronting it. My friend would have met it head on. In the event, although I’ve now decided that action must be taken, I’m still being cautious – it’s still very possible that the situation could explode again.

Let’s hope that I’ve been able to diffuse the situation with my solution.
