Moorhen Feeding Baby

April happening - the babies are arriving!
We see lots of Coots, and not nearly so often the Moorhens.
I was delighted to see a mommy with 5 little ones. This babe stuck right with mom while the others
were more adventurous. I had never seen Moorhen chicks before.

AWWWW.....Guess it's time to go see if the coots and moorhens around us have any chicks!
