The Lucknow Pipe Band was formed in 1908 in Lucknow,Ontario with it's first public performance at Point Clark on May 24th, 1908.

Seated front is Ollie Matheson,brother of Duncan Matheson. Ollie was visiting from Toledo, Ohio, and accompanying the band on it's trip to Goderich, Ontario that day (via train from Lucknow with stopover in Clinton)to promote Lucknow's approaching 1910 Reunion. He was not a band member.
