It was a sunny day so I headed out to Bay Area Park to see what I could find. I saw this young lady with a camera, reflector and a gadget bag, so I went up and started a conversation. She was out in the park taking Senior Pictures. We chatted for a while. She was saving up to get a Canon 70D and was taking a photography curriculum at the local college. Nice kid. I hung around for a little while and watched her work. She was certainly challenged with the high sun angle, but she went about finding locations and taking pictures. She was holding the reflector in one hand and shooting (her T3i) with the other. As I thought about it, I had to admire the gumption of this young lady. She was out pursuing her dream. We need more kids like that. I wish her all the luck in the world.
