The subject matter of this image shows the remnants of what was originally a strong rejection of the Vietnam War.
The fact that the remnants of the message has been left to slowly ware away is a further demonstration community attitude to various activities or thinking over time.
The monochrome treatment fits the subject but could benefit from more contrast to bring out the words more, I also find the chain fence a distraction.
