Once the windshield has been trimmed to fit, and carefully clamped in place, the outer trim has to be fit.
This took a little more work to get a nice clean look. I spent several hours, but got a very nice fit.
Once this was done, I drilled the sides of the windshield, and made the trim pieces for that. The drilling of a plexi-glass windshield is a nerve wracking job, and takes a special type of drill bit.
I once watched a mechanic drill the last hole in a replacement windshield for my Cirabria, only to have it break. It was a $500 mistake.
I had no such problems drilling this one.
