I started going through our photos of state capitol buildings we took on our last road trip. We actually visited four: New Your, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. These are the first capitol visits since I went through the 24 sets of photos we took of other capitols and decided that we simply did a poor job of taking enough pictures of the right things. I put together our Albany collection today and was gratified that we did a much better job because we had some specific things we wanted to capture. One of those things is the state seal. Almost every statehouse has the state seal displayed somewhere. So we made it a point of photographing the seal. Today you see the state seal of New York. If you have a visit to my state capitol gallery and check out New York http://www.pbase.com/johncrossphotography/capitols then compare it to Tallahassee, you will see we have become much better at getting a good quantity of photos.
