A recent visitor to my backyard; tentatively identified as a male Broad-winged Hawk. I have never seen one before; but a Broad-winged Hawk is the only one that fits the colour/plumage characteristics. If ID proves correct, this is a lifer for me.
Too bad that a pesky branch had to ruin an otherwise decent shot; but hey…. I'll take a poor shot of a lifer any day; and hope for a better one another time.
