Yet another tire problem. The right rear tire on the van developed a tread separation and we stopped in Burlington, NC, to get it taken care of. The tires on the care are still original equipment Continental tires. We had had three or four leaks due to picking up sharp objects in the road. We have had two actual tire failures. With 55,000 miles on these tires, there is still tons of tread left. The vast majority of our driving is highway driving, so the tires do not wear very fast. I am thinking about a new set of tires, but certainly not Continentals.
