Alder Creek area, Manchester. Originally identified as a juvenile Brown Shrike. Over time the growing blackish tail feathers documented by various observers (and shown by an arrow) casted doubt on the Identification. Could be an intergrade or non-countable hybrid.
This bird was eventualy identified as a hybrid Turkestan Shrike x Red-backed Shrike.
