This hole in the ground was pointed out to me by the head-master of the Inkılap Ilkokulu: it was discovered when the park facing his the school and in the back of the Ulu Camii was being landscaped, and formed part of a tunnel that led to the Ulu Camii. The distanced from the hole to the mosque is considerable, I estimate some 60 or 70 meters.
