We spent the day at the Jamestown Settlement. This is a big place that has a fort replica, and Indian village and replicas of the three ships that brought the Jamestown settlers. Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement in the new world. The actual site of Jamestown is about a mile away. There was a nice museum as well. What I found interesting was this guy. They had a matchlock shooting demonstration. I had never seen a matchlock in action before, so it was real interesting to me.

I visited here a few years ago. I thought it all very interesting.
