I have only spotted one owl since living in Australia.
Back in South Africa we rescued an injured owl and nursed him back to health.
We called him Ollie. Once let free he came back regularly for a feed.

A very handsome subject and a different pose & position. Overall, a departure from the norm, even in the same genre, I'd say. Very goid specimen.
