A great capture Terry. I love his big eyes! I have only spotted one owl since living in Australia. Back in South Africa we rescued an injured owl and nursed him back to health. We called him Ollie. Once let free he came back regularly for a feed.

Dear Terry, Owls are great birds to observe but . hard to photograph. Good use of depth of field to showcase the owl.

A very handsome subject and a different pose & position. Overall, a departure from the norm, even in the same genre, I'd say. Very goid specimen.
