Last night the magnetic solar storm was strongest since 2005.
We all were in awe and social media and websites were full of gorgeous aurora images!
It was amazing to witness this breathtaking light show in Tampere.
The whole sky was filled with dancing auroras.
This kind of aurora corona is seen when the aurora is directly above you,
and rays seem to fall around you from the zenith of the sky.

It's very exceptional chance to see northern lights nationwide in Finland as
they mostly occur in Lapland. Last night the magnetic solar storm was strongest since 2005.

Beautiful photo Anitta. No one predicted that the event on this night would be so strong. I live at a fairly high latitude in the Southern Hemisphere and the display was awesome here too, but not like this! V
