We are so close to the point in the year where we can go walking in the evening after work. It’s light enough to see all the way through the evening tennis ball game now and probably by this time next week we’ll have an hour of daylight when we get home. Soon the boots can come out from under the chair in the evening, get put on and used to give me a bit of exercise.

It is a source of major misery to me that DM eats considerably more than I do each day and yet he’s losing weight, whereas I eat like a sparrow and it makes no difference. The reason? He does a physical job and I sit on my lardy arse all day. Maybe with a bit of evening exercise I'll be able to lose a few pounds and who knows, I might even gain a bit of lost self-esteem.
