We returned for another tour of the New York Capitol today with the purpose of taking pictures in the Senate and House chambers. We couldn't take pictures yesterday because the houses were in session. We ended up with the same tour guide as yesterday. There were two other people on the tour. We got plenty of time for photography. After that we headed over to the State Museum and went through that. It was interesting. They had a carousel which we could ride. It was over 100 years old and had been restored to perfect working condition. We also went next door to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception which was completed in 1852. It was beautiful. The interior really reminded us of a European Gothic cathedral. Then we headed to the car and started the drive to Hartford, CT, where we planned to spend the night.
