The tones of the dead grass and the snow, contrast with the bright blues of the items on the right hand side. A lovely, photograph with a great deal of atmosphere.

I agree with Cindy, a nicely composed seasonal scene. Sure looks cold - we are having a 'heat wave' here in the Pacific Northwest and hurting for snow!
