Nikon D800 set to DX mode, Nikkor 300mm F/4, Nikkor TC 1.4E II, Tripod
Exposure = 1/1250 sec at f/7.1, ISO 100, aperture priority, center weighted metering
Focal Length 35mm = 630mm
White balance pre-set via white reference card

No post processing crop, no sharpening of any kind applied.

That's a very good result showing the quality of that lens! I don't see any converging or other distortion lines. You had your camera perfectly aligned as well, very nice experiment!
