Our friendly neighborhood hawk was out on the light pole in front of our house yesterday, so I thought I'd see if he would sit still long enough for a couple of photos.
He didn't seem bothered by my presence, but was instead watching a squirrel behind me.
Unfortunately, the day was gray and overcast, with almost no sunshine, so the background isn't the nicest - the color you see has been the color of the sky for 3 days now.
I'm looking forward to some sunshine - after all, this is Florida, the "Sunshine State"!
