We found er digging in bin bags in the woods near an estate I worked on in Waterford, Ireland.
She was absolutely emaciated, but in great spirits. After removing dozens of ticks, getting her vetted, and feeding her some decent food, she really came to life.
She now lives with a close friend of mine nearby. I see her very often.
