ICE WALKING

Fort Worth, TX

We got ice last night and today and no snow. That's what we get. And, well it closes everything down because we don't have the equipment or salt the folks up north have. This happens every winter for a couple of days. Thank goodness it isn't constant.

I did venture out as far as the driveway and got this shot of one of my neighbors walking his dog. Only person out and about. I went in and worked on some images and did some cleaning. Put a roast in the crockpot for dinner and chilled a bit.

So, yes, the metroplex shut down. And, for good reason. Ice and people that don't know how to drive in it; and believe me that is a problem anywhere you go; doesn't make for a great day to get out. Supposed to get more and some snow tomorrow night into Wednesday morning. I can deal with the snow. It is the inch plus ice we're getting that I hate. So, I started a fire in the fireplace and staying warm. Think I'll take a nice hot bath in the garden tub tonight.....yeah, that sounds good!

I'm so glad we don't get the precipitation with cold weather like north Texas. Houstonians would be freaking out. LOL

Ice can be dangerous to that dogs feet also, she should stay on the grass and not stay out too long! Hope you stay safe!
