It was a nice day so I went out to take some pictures. I stopped by Bay Area Park, a place that I go to rather regularly. It was just after lunch and the sun was high. I came across these two birds circling some weeds and having a feast on the bugs to be found therein. This is at 400 mm and f/11. That old DOF was at work, making the egret nicely in focus, but his buddy, about a foot beyond, was out of focus. You knew that would happen, didn't you.
