I think this image is very cool. I like the fact that your subject is holding a sparkler in the middle of winter. The only element of composition that I notice in your photo is simplicity, but I believe that it is very difficult to try and use elements of composition in your images with a slow shutter project. The lighting in your image is dark, but i like that because I think it draws much more attention to your subject and the sparkler. Next time, I would try to use the dodging and burning tool to darken the background much more. I think your image is original. When we were assigned this assignment, I never thought to use a sparkler. my suggestions for next time would be to try and wait to take the picture when cars are driving by, I think it would make the image more interesting.

I like this picture because of the sparkler in motion. The composition of this is good because of how she is placed directly in the middle and the sparkler is in the upper third. The lighting is good for it being night time. The rest of the picture could of been a little bit more still but thats hard at night. The image is very interesting because of the moving sparkler. Only suggestion is for it to be a little bit more still but overall I really like the picture.
