Now I'm on the Rim Trail, which is exactly what it is: a trail that follows the rim of the canyon containing all the waterfalls. Shortly after entering this trail, there is a stretch of enormous Douglas Firs. This is actually not one of the really big ones, but you'd never know it looking at this beauty.
