1975 Triumph TR6

Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset

HAYNES DESCRIPTION:

Triumphs designer Michelotti was fully occupied with other British Leyland products, so Karmann Ghia, the German design house, was employed to produce this, the last of the true Tr's. Introduced in 1969, it has the same specification as the TR5, with its six cylinder 2498cc fuel injected engine. By then, exhaust emissions controls were being enforced in the USA, necessitating the manufacturer of two versions of this car. Not unexpectedly, the fuel injection version was destined for the European market

other sizes: small medium original auto

I have always liked blue cars and this Triumph takes me back to a time when one of my friends drove a dark green one any years ago. A beautiful capture of both the car and a memory for me. Voted
