I have just uploaded my photos for the whole week onto my laptop – as you’ll realise I’m way behind with this thing. It won't take me long to choose my PAD shot as most days I only took one photo.

Here is today’s shot – it’s obviously not the best photo ever. It’s been one of the longest, hardest days of my life. I’ve been on such a steep learning curve. I had eleven 45 minute long appointments booked to take customer orders for our new collections. My first one didn’t show up but from 9.45am I was flat-out until 6pm. It’s a hugely different style of selling compared to selling market research and it requires a number of very different qualities – not least remembering the key facts about each critter. The day was like being hit by a tornado but I managed to hang on in the face of the onslaught and only made a couple of small-ish mistakes. OK - so making my first customer of the day cry could have been considered a big mistake but it wasn't my fault, honest!

Conforming to the old adage “work hard, play hard”, this photo was taken in the bar of the hotel after returning from a restaurant – it all went downhill from here!
