Mount Damavand could be considered as a potentially active volcano, since there are powerful fumaroles near the summit crater, emitting sulfur. They make some difficulty for Damavand climbers.
Fumarole is volcanic gases that are published via volcanic gates.

Unfortunately I have developed some health issues and eventually could not approach to the summit.
