We weren't able to see the Congo across the lake until
the last day when the haze subsided. That evening
we were supposed to go on a river trip to observe/photograph birds, but
a family of hippos blocked the entrance to the river, so
landed up enjoying wonderful cocktails and a spectacular sunset
over the Congo hills with the wrong lens :(
