Homeless in America
Sanctuary Village is a safe haven for the homeless in Rochester, NY. The village was a tent city, but moved into a donated former warehouse due to the cold winter weather.

I've seen your winters; this is definitely a vastly preferable option. It's far from ideal but much better than a tent. What's interesting about this shot is the presence of Old Glory; no matter how far these people have fallen (and that could be most of us if circumstances were to turn against us badly enough) at least someone here still faith in "The Republic for which it stands". It's an image that mixes despair and hope quite effectively. (Ah; I just noticed that one of the other commenters also picked up on this.)
