Bill, I love abandoned structures. They have a haunting quality to them. They are like witnesses to human activity, but muted to keep their secrets forever.

I think derelict wooden structures here will not last ten years due to the harsh Winter season plus a rainy early Spring.

This is unusual for us here in Kansas. Mostly deralict buildings are made of wood.
