The mission of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is to inspire people to live in harmony with the
natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert.
This world-famous museum is rather a zoo displaying the creatures of the surrounding desert in their natural habitats.
I see Coyotes in the wild frequently where I live and work and am always excited to see them.
This is the first time I have seen them at the Desert Museum. There was a pair of them in a
large area that, at first, did not even appear to be contained. I was quite anxious that they
were so close until I realized they were actually enclosed.
