This was a Christmas Gift from my sister. One places various things in the glass artistic vessel. This happens to be a "Cider Cocktail", the ingredients were: Dried cranberries, dried currents, dried Hibiscus, sliced ginger root, toasted nutmeg, cloves and allspice, 16 apple slices, sugar cube and sugar syrup, two sprigs of thyme, two sprigs of sage, unsweetened grape juice, water, apple spiced black tea leaves, and (drum roll please),, Apple Brandy (that is the alcoholic portion of this concoction). but it can also used for making herbal vinegars, etc.,,
