1-8-2015 Long-eared Owl - a real treat to see

Eide Road, Stanwood, Washington

A couple of long-eared owls have created quite a stir in the local birding community. These owls have a habit of perching in some of the most difficult
settings - almost never in the clear. The blurs are branches and twigs in the foreground.

What a delicacy. These guys are so shy and hard to locate...very nice work. And a very special find!
